DEAR FELLOW ASIAN AMERICANS:
The inequity suffered by the 5 million Asian Ams. in California will be
over, if either Tom Campbell (a Republican running for the US Senate)
or Ted Lieu (a Democrat running for Attorney General) or both win in
tomorrow's (June 8th, Tuesday) primary.
Why so? They are not expected to win, unless there is a HUGE Asian
Am bloc vote. However, if and when they win, all California politicians
will henceforth compete to help Asian Ams in CA attain equal opportunity
and justice in order to win our bloc vote in their next election. When
the 5 million in CA become equal citizens, will the rest of us be far behind?
So seize the opportunity, act!
1) If you live in CA, go vote tomorrow. If you are registered as a
Decline, you can still vote in either the Dem. or the Republican primary
by asking for either a Dem. or a Rep. ballot (but not both) at the poll.
2) If you don't live in CA, forward this email to your CA friends.
Victory is not guaranteed. However, we owe it to ourselves & our
chlidren TO TRY! You, who are noble, act!
Respectfully yours,
S. B. Woo, Acting Exec. Director (a volunteer), 80-20 PAC, Inc.
PS Search your conscience. Are you willing to
EITHER spend a few minutes to forward this email to your friends in CA,
OR spend 1 hour to go vote, when you live in CA??
