                                     Mission Accomplished!
Proud of Having a Political Action Org. of Your Own to Protect You?

According to NBC and many other news media, Pres. Trump "said he'd no longer call it the "Chinese virus"" Mission accomplished!

History of How the Victory Came By

Three days ago, 80-20 SuperPAC declared that it might roll out a political action program called " Demand Apology or Reject Trump", DART. The program would begin with a full-page ad carrying an open letter to Pres. Trump. The ad would demand that candidate Trump stop using the term "Chinese Virus" and apologize within 3 days. Otherwise 80-20 SuperPAC would take political action to defeat him in 2020. The DART program would recruit up to 10,000 supporters who would donate $5 to $100 per week for a war chest that could reach $2,000,000. However, if candidate Trump would apologize by May 31, such action would cease,s and the donated money would be returned to donors.

About 2 hours after 80-20's e-newsletter went to 125,000 AsAm supporters, Pres. Trump made amends by issuing 2 tweets and making a press conference statement: "It is very important that we totally protect our Asian American community in the United States, and all around the world," Trump tweeted Monday evening. "They are amazing people, and the spreading of the Virus (...) is NOT their fault in any way, shape, or form. They are working closely with us to get rid of it. WE WILL PREVAIL TOGETHER!"

Two days ago, 80-20 SuperPAC issued an e-newsletter entitled "Victory?". It reported candidate Trump's recent amends to the AsAm community and would therefore "suspend its DART project, unless he uses the term "Chinese virus" again."

Many hours later, Pres. Trump said to many reporters that "he'd no longer call it the "Chinese virus"". Thank you, Mr. President. Mission accomplished!

                                            Acknowledgement

Many valiant individuals (Congresspersons Ted Lieu, Judy Chu, and Grace Meng) and organizations (JCPA, C-100 and OCA) issued respective statements asking Pres. Trump not to use the term "Chinese virus."  One heroic individual, Michelle Huang, started a petition site asking Pres. Trump to apologize. We would like to apologize to those who might have made similar efforts of which 80-20 is not aware.

An EFFECTIVE AsAm Political Action Committee is Needed.

Politics is rough and tumble.  Actions that reward and punish are always needed. Search you memory please.  Did a single AsAm organization take political action against candidate Trump, except for 80-20 SuperPAC?
Next, if the anti-AsAm violence on the street doesn't abate, we'll see what 80-20 can do.  Thank you.
