When is the State of Union Speech? 9 p.m., EST, tonight.
Our political establishment has begun to give us equal
opportunity:
Under Pres. Obama, there are 3 Asian Am. cabinet secretaries and two
top ranked White House staff. The top-staff are Peter Rouse who briefly
served as Obama's Chief of Staff, Chris Lu who is the Cabinet Secretary,
and Tina Tchen, Chief of Staff for the First Lady. Lat years, even the top
level Republicans are beginning to answer 80-20's questionnaire.
Our private industries, universities and federal agencies are
still way behind:
Those institutions still don't realize the immense benefit to themselves
in providing Asian Ams with equal opportunity. See an 80-20 public service ad below.
80-20 is working diligently to overcome this inequity.
