Welcome to Exciting New Year - 2012

First, on behalf of all the members of 80-20 Initiative, the Executive Committee takes this opportunity in the New Year to express our most sincere gratitude to Dr. SB Woo, who first initiated the idea of an Asian American PAC with a block-vote strategy, brought together many prominent Asian American leaders and launched the 80-20 Initiative in 1998 and has since then dedicated more than a decade of his life to the growth and development of this unique organization.

Over the last nine months, Dr. Woo, by working with ALL OF YOU, created a miracle by doubling our membership in only 9 months in such a difficult economic time for our nation. This is also an opportunity for us to say THANK YOU to all the 80-20 members who have made this miracle possible by coming forward and becoming members!!!

Going forward, SB will continue to search for a new president and executive director for 80-20 and maintain valuable political contacts at the national level. In the interim, the Executive Committee has formed a Collective Leadership to carry out the day-to-day functioning of 80-20 until a new president is identified.

2012 is the national presidential election year. Increasing 80-20 membership will show our community's growing political clout. Therefore, to check the status of your membership, please go to:
