In the final analysis, our political system encourages individuals to vote THEIR OWN INTERESTS. Hence, the reason that 80-20 urges all Asian Americans to vote as a bloc for Kerry is simple. It is THE BEST WAY TO POLITICALLY EMPOWER OURSELVES. FOR OUR OWN GOOD, we must reward politicians who, in comparison, has helped & will help us more – KERRY.
Politicians always court a community that can deliver a SWING bloc vote. The Republican Party might think that the bloc vote delivered by 80-20 in 2000 was an accident. After this coming bloc vote on Nov. 2, whether Bush wins or loses, the Republican Party will face the reality of an ASAm bloc vote.
RESULT? BOTH PARTIES WILL COMPETE TO SERVE OUR
RIGHTFUL CONCERNS! Our children will benefit, & America
becomes “a more perfect Union.”

As soon as the next president is known, 80-20 will REVERT BACK to its NON-PARTISAN stand, until the NEXT endorsement. AFTER the endorsement, 80-20 becomes partisan again so that both parties will serve our rightful interests to win 80-20's endorsement. That is what
