(1) Gov. Gary Locke will give the rebuttal on behalf of the Democratic
Party to Pres. Bush's State of the Union address on 1/28. An APA has
never had this honor before!
(2) "USA Today" reported that the minimum length of admission
for B-2 non-immigrants visits would probably be extended to
3 months from the 1 month that was proposed after "9/11"!
Parents of many APA immigrants use this visa to visit their children
and have a lengthy stay in the USA. 80-20 was the organization that
provided you with the e-mail and postal addresses of INS and other
relevant branches of our government so that your voice can be heard in
unison. See our e-mail to YOU of 4/12/02:
http://www.80-20.info/em041202.html . This may be another
demonstration of the importance of having a "group voice."
(3) As 80-20 gains national prestige, its president S. B. Woo is
receiving more invitations to speak at prestigious mainstream
institutions. Just this year, S. B. Woo has been invited to speak at
Wellesley College, alma mater of Mm. Chiang, Kai Shek and Sen.
Hillary Clinton, W. L. Gore & Associates and Dupont
Corporation. In past years, he spoke at Bowdoin, Amherst, Harvard,
Stanford, and Yale to name a few.

You may recall that 80-20 was rated "one of the nation's two
top cyberspace political organizations in the 2000 election,"

This book is now available! One of the authors, Prof. Steve Davis,

What does being rated as one of Nation's two top cyber political
org. mean?
Many things. One thing for sure: it showed how hard the
volunteers at 80-20 have worked for YOU and YOUR children.
Please do YOUR share.
